I am so excited to share I am headed to South Africa for my first ever mission trip with a team from The Shoreline Church! We will be partnering with Life Community Services hosting a weeklong VBS for 300+ kids from the local and surrounding community. This summer I have the amazing opportunity to go on my first mission trip to South Africa with The Shoreline Church – I’m so excited! I’ve always felt called to help and serve others so getting to actually live that out in a hands-on way is something I’m really looking forward to. As a nurse, I have a unique opportunity to serve in a dual capacity: providing first aid & sharing the gospel message!
While we’re there, our team will be partnering with Life Christian Academy. We’ll be running a “holiday club” for kids, most of whom are from impoverished neighborhoods. We will be pouring into these kids through teaching, feeding, and sharing God’s love to them. Our church has been building a relationship with this community over the past three years!!
My fundraising goal for this trip is $3,000. I will be covering whatever portion of this trip is not raised, but I wanted to give you the opportunity to partner with me as I go and do the good work that God has for this trip. I would greatly appreciate your prayer and financial consideration. The funds raised will go toward travel costs, supplies for the holiday club, and resources that will directly support the kids and the ongoing work at the school. Every bit of support – whether it’s giving or prayer – truly makes a difference.
