Hold onto my hands and feet as the Lord uses them to minister to orphaned and vulnerable children in George, South Africa.
A trip to South Africa in the winter months of June/July means brisk mornings, chilly nights, and a chance of a good downpour of rain. A trip to Life Christian Academy in George, South Africa means an opportunity to love on children by serving meals, worshipping in song, teaching God’s Word, making crafts, and playing games. A trip to George, means using my hands and feet with my heart and my words to share the love of God to children who live on the edge of poverty. A trip to South Africa with The Shoreline Church of San Clemente means a week of bonding with fellow Shoreliners as we travel, live together, get to know one another more deeply as we use our gifts to glorify God. Last year was such a beautiful experience for me. I couldn’t believe I was on mission halfway around the world at the tip of the African continent. I can’t wait to do it all again and see what new lessons God has to teach me in the process of teaching the children of Life Christian Academy.
