George, South AfricaWe are heading back to Life Christian Academy, a nonprofit organization in George, South Africa on July 3rd, 2025. LCS is a Christian school for the underprivileged in George, South Africa, which operates grades preschool to 8th grade, runs a daily community feeding program, a foster program, and retrains South African women to make a living wage by sewing, crocheting, and knitting and selling their goods. As we did on the last trip, we will be running a “holiday club”, which is the South African equivalent of a vacation bible school here in the states. This spring break, I’m returning to Oahu and stepping outside my comfort zone to serve the homeless in Honolulu — helping provide 1,500 meals each day, supporting recovery outreach, and working on hands-on church construction projects.
