We have set up a giving page to assist the Rose family following the loss of their beloved Boogie.

Many of you knew and loved Boogie Rose, one of our former pastors here at The Shoreline who stepped out in 2008 to plant Branches Church. Sadly, Boog passed away on June 12 due to post-transplant lymphoma. We are mourning his loss, yet also rejoicing that he is in his heavenly home. We have set up a giving page to assist his family and to take care of some of their expenses moving forward. We invite you to give if you feel led.

    Met Boogie in Mission Hospital parking lot years and years ago, where he had been visiting a homeless man. His love for this man touched my heart, so much that I encouraged my son to participate in Young Life. He was a blessing to our youth and community. Such a special man of God♥️

    In the ‘90s Boog was pivotal in our son’s life and took him under his wing through Young Life and Bible Study. It was through Boog that Justin got into Point Loma, the only school he would apply to. He would go on to officiate Justin and Michelle’s wedding at a time when he was dealing with his health challenges. Many, many treasured memories with Boog and Steph. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Steph and the kids and pray they will be blessed by these gifts from Shoreline.
