McKenzie and Payton’s 2025 Trip to South Africa

Payton and I are so excited to go to South Africa in July! We will be helping with a “VBS” (vacation bible school/camp) type of program.  We will be playing games, singing, and most importantly sharing God’s word with these children.  As I’ve watched videos of the children we will be interacting with, I cannot wait to love on these kids and hopefully bring joy to their days.  To see smiles that are so innocent and hearts that long for interaction and connection.

I can’t wait to share this with P and together grow in our faith and experience true selfless joy.  I hope we are constantly reminded of what really matters (not Starbucks or social media).  I think this will be a trip of a lifetime!

We are beyond excited and are looking forward to all God has in store for us.  Please pray for our group’s safety, spiritual growth, personal mother/daughter connection, and for this experience to help us see others as God sees all of us.  Please pray for our hearts to be open and to show these kids true unconditional love just as God shows us.
