Seth has given the majority of his adult life to the Lord’s purposes here at The Shoreline, so that people could come to see, know, and follow Jesus wholeheartedly. 

From pastoring the church body at large, to teaching, discipling, writing, training, counseling, leading, praying, and navigating various church seasons; Seth has poured himself out in seeing Jesus lifted up, lives changed, and the church built up.

God’s given Seth a unique heart and gift for evangelism and he’s been blessed to pray with many people to receive Christ for the first time. Bringing on programs like Starting Point, Discipleship Triads, the Discipleship Pathway, and Align, along with countless writing projects and curricula have helped people move from the crowd to the core of our church family.

Seth has remained faithful and committed for almost 20 years, and we would love our church family to join in honoring his years of dedication and love with any financial gift that you feel lead to give to support the Ebel family.

    Seth, we don’t know each other well, but I’ve witnessed you being a faithful, intelligent, creative , witty, and loving leader, both in spite of and because of the challenges with your son. As a father to a special needs daughter, I fully appreciate the nature of those challenges, as well as the powerful gifts they provide to us as parents. God bless you and your family; I look forward to hearing about the doors the Lord opens up for you guys in this next chapter, and hope that our donation helps to ease this transition.

    Seth – We want to thank you deeply for the way you’ve poured your life into The Shoreline and into people like us. Your ministry has left an eternal mark and planted many seeds, not just through your teaching and leadership, but through your genuine care for people. You didn’t just know our names, you knew our story. You made time to check in, to listen, and to connect us with our life group, which has become one of the most meaningful and life-giving communities we’ve ever been part of. That connection has truly shaped our walk with Jesus and strengthened our faith in ways we’ll always be grateful for.

    It’s clear that your years of service have been rooted in Jesus’ words; “Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant.” Matthew 20:26. You’ve lived that out faithfully. From launching discipleship programs to praying with people to meet Christ for the first time, your legacy is one of obedience and fruitfulness. The seeds you’ve planted at The Shoreline will continue to bear fruit for generations to come.

    As you begin this next season together, we pray that the same Spirit who has guided and sustained you in ministry will now bless your business, your marriage, and your new rhythms of life. May the Lord “establish the work of your hands” (Psalm 90:17) and give you rest and joy in this new chapter.
